The weekend I have been waiting on pins and needles for finally arrived! It was Mrs. Texas Weekend, and I would finally find out who would become my sister queen and roommate at Mrs. America!

It was also a wonderful Girl's Weekend! A bunch of contestants from Mrs. Oklahoma and I decided to have a road trip/mini reunion in the beautiful Corsicana, Texas!

To say the least, the weekend was a total blast! I had so much fun with my Mrs. Oklahoma sisters and I got to meet with all the Mrs. Texas contestants, one-on-one before they went into their interview, which is an important time in the competition and I loved being there to support them all! 

I think this weekend is where it finally started to sink in that I really was Mrs. Oklahoma and that it actually happened. But, what you are really wanting to know is who won Mrs. Texas right?!?!?!? Well, just keep scrolling...

Mrs. Texas 2018, Chesney Berzins

This was Chesney's very first pageant and I have to say, that as I watched her that final night, I could tell that there was something special about her, and wouldn't you know it, I was RIGHT!!

I am so excited to share this journey with MY Mrs. Texas, Chesney Berzins. With every conversation we have, we just get closer. I don't think that I caould have been given a better sister queen! I promise later on I will do a whole profile on her for everyone so you can get to know her!

So I LOVE that we got a picture of the two of us from my crowning night and a picture from her crowning night!! How cool is that?? It must be fate!
